Wynonna Judd addresses fans after concerning behavior at CMA Awards sparks questions

Many fans expressed their concern for country singer Wynonna Judd’s health on Wednesday night in the comments, and Judd is now replying to them.

At the beginning of the CMA Awards, Judd (59 years old) and Jelly Roll (38 years old) sang “Need a Favor.” Judd held Jelly Roll throughout the opening scene.

Many viewers expressed their worry for Judd’s well-being after seeing the scene.

In response to fan feedback, Judd posted a video to her social media sites after the concert.

They advise, “Don’t read the comments.” captioned the video she had shot.

Judd finally breaks her silence and says, “I’m just gonna come clean with y’all” after reading the comments.

“My nerves were frazzled.”

Even though Judd was overjoyed when Jelly Roll invited her to begin the show alongside him, her excitement was overshadowed by her anxiety.

I clung on for dear life the whole time since I was so anxious when I went out there. In the end, that’s what matters.

In an interview with ET after her show, she discussed her choice to accept Jelly Roll’s invitation to perform with him.

“I have to be there for people the way they were there for me,” Judd commented to ET. “I’m doing my part to be generous with people like Jelly Roll because people have been so generous with me, and now it’s my job to pass it on.”
