The reality of getting older by the year is something that most people can relate to. Sometimes some people feel good about it, but most times, anxiety is the emotion that comes with getting older. Star actress Tiffani Thiessen is not anxious about getting older and has decided to face it head-on.
Thiessen is an American actress who has appeared in several films and TV shows. In 1993 she appeared in “Son In Law,” and she has been featured in other movies over the years. She is also a TV host who hosted the Cooking Channel series, “Dinner at Tiffani’s,” which ran from 2015 to 2017. The “Saved By The Bell” actress has been hosting the MTV comedy clip show “Deliciousness” from 2020 until the present.
The cookbook author, who is aging with grace, is realistic about her life as she ages. In August 2023, Thiessen decided to speak with dietician Shira Barlow on her Podcast, “Good Instincts,” on her feelings about ageism and the societal ideals attached to it.
From a young age, the actress has been in the spotlight as she competed in Beauty Pageants. In 1987, Thiessen was crowned Miss Junior America, and in 1989, she was named Cover Girl’s “Model of the Year.” Although Thiessen was popular in her teens, she swiftly rose to fame when she was featured in “Saved By The Bell.”
The Daytime Emmy Award winner got married to her spouse, Brady Smith, in 2005, and they have since had lovely children. The couple share a daughter, Harper, 12, and a son, Holt, 7.

In an interview with Fox in 2019, the mother of two revealed how she balances her thriving career with being a mother. The “A Killer Among Friends” actress explained:
“I feel like I’m always striving for that perfect balance of it all, but I don’t know if there is such a thing. And I think kind of knowing that you just have to do every day your best to make sure you can hopefully get home and spend time with your kids.”
Thiessen tries to balance her life as a parent by spending time with her children in the morning and her personal life of keeping fit and going to the gym. Although it is not easy, and to the actress, “It’s always a dance.”
The cookbook author had her children in her late 30s and early 40s, and it made her body naturally change. As Thiessen gets older by the year, her body and face experience change, which is now different from when she was a teen. As a beautiful teen, Thiessen was “every guy’s crush.” At an early age, the actress began appearing in teen magazines and had fans who loved her.
In the world of today, most people try to do some procedures to make them look younger than their age. The pressure of looking younger even worsens, especially when the individuals have gotten older than their perceived prime. Many questions have been thrown at the actress about how she feels about approaching another milestone of age, and Thiessen has expressed her sincere feelings to the public.

During the Aug. 11, 2023, podcast episode, Thiessen revealed she was “so much more at ease” about getting older. She said:
“When I was turning 40, I felt like I had more personal pressure on myself to look the best I could. At 50, I feel very confident in knowing that I’m doing the best I can …”
The mom of two does not feel pressure about turning the milestone age of 50 in January 2024. In fact, she is pretty confident in herself, which includes her body and her face. Thiessen opened up about being a good example to her daughter to show that she takes care of herself.
As she continued with her revelation, the producer ascribed her confidence to her “not giving a s**t.” Thiessen further explained:
“I think people will say things, you know … and maybe expect me to look a certain way, yes, but I mean, it’s just not realistic. I can only age the way I’m going to age, right?”
Thiessen is not bothered about how people think of her because she knows that she is doing all she can to stay healthy as she ages. The actress was not 100% confident when she was in her late 30s and 40s, largely due to the fact that she was having children at that period and experiencing change. However, Thiessen is in a stable place and is only concerned about raising her children to do well for themselves and society.
In addition to her general confidence about her age and life, the actress is also a big promoter of healthy eating. On Sept. 26, 2023, her upcoming cookbook, “Here We Go Again,” will hit the bookshelves.
