The Morning Show is real and it deals with the different crises the media is going through and we journalists can relate to it well. The craze for numbers and advertorials to keep the media houses running in times of financial crunches and most importantly it shows the importance of face value more than journalistic knowledge. All in the name of revenue earned. Sad scene when most journalists are getting demotivated who thought the pen is mightier than the sword. In the case of The Morning Show too television journalists are feeling sad when their arms are being twisted in the name of number game. And there is nobody to blame, not even the marketing department who are also under tremendous pressure of showing their bosses the revenue that they are able to earn from the shows.
