Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck avoid kisses while attending his son’s basketball game – days after tour is canceled

Check any entertainment section today, and you’ll likely find headlines about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. The A-list couple has been under intense scrutiny, fueled by persistent rumors that their marriage is heading towards divorce.

Last week, a flurry of reports surfaced, mostly casting a negative light on Affleck and Lopez’s relationship. Allegations have emerged that Affleck has moved out of their shared mansion, and various anonymous sources have offered differing takes on the situation.

Late Friday brought perhaps the most significant update yet: Jennifer Lopez announced the cancellation of her highly anticipated US tour, This Is Me… Now, to focus on her family.

Lopez addressed her fans on her website, explaining the difficult decision:

“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary,” she wrote. “I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”

Speculation has swirled about possible poor ticket sales, but a source told the Daily Mail that this was not the reason for the cancellation. Despite this, the news has done little to quell the divorce rumors. In fact, some have taken it as further evidence that Lopez and Affleck’s marriage is in trouble and that Lopez is no longer able to handle the demands of touring.

Over the weekend, Affleck and Lopez were seen together at a basketball game played by Affleck’s son. They were photographed smiling and greeting each other outside a YMCA, but there was a noticeable lack of public affection. The couple reportedly avoided kissing on the lips when they met up and were seen walking side by side without holding hands.

Last month, a source told Page Six that Affleck had “come to his senses” about his marriage to Lopez:

“If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would,” the insider said. “He feels like the last two years were just a fever dream and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”

As of now, neither Affleck nor Lopez has issued an official statement—understandable given that much of the information is speculative. However, this saga has been full of unexpected twists, so stay tuned for potential updates.
