CATHERINE ZETA-JONES’ DAUGHTER IS RAPIDLY GROWING UP, A SPITTING IMAGE OF HER STAR MOTHER

Growing up in the intense spotlight that comes with both of your parents being famous Hollywood actors can’t be easy.

Sure, you’ll never want for anything, and there are many worse environments to be born into, but life has been quite fascinating for Dylan Michael and Carys Zeta Douglas, the children of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The media has been eagerly observing Dylan and Carys as they grow up, wondering if they will choose to pursue careers in acting like their renowned parents.

Now, at least in the case of Carys, it seems we have an answer. Zeta-Jones has openly revealed that both of her children intend to venture into the world of acting on the silver screen.

“When they’re on stage, you want to look at them,” the 49-year-old actress shared in an interview with Hello! Magazine. “They’re also interested in the craft. My son wishes to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in theatre. My daughter aspired to be a pediatrician until she was five years old when she realized that acting was more fun.”

With both children aspiring to follow in their parents’ footsteps, many people are closely following their progress. For those seeking evidence, they need only look at Carys, who has been gaining considerable attention simply because she is becoming more and more like her mother with each passing day.

Last year, the young girl made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week, attracting significant attention.

Since then, she has maintained a relatively low profile, which is understandable considering she is only 15 years old. However, her absence from the public eye was interrupted this week when she accompanied her mother to another fashion event.

Carys and Catherine stole the show at the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda women’s couture event, which took place at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York. Mother and daughter arrived in matching attire and posed for a number of photos that attest to their resemblance.
