The queen would have been 98 years old yesterday, April 21. Even though she’s not here with us anymore, her son would still remember her. Their old butler claimed that King Charles III and Queen Camilla would have had a peaceful and important day to remember her.
Someone who used to work for Charles and Camilla, Grant Harrold, said that they probably wouldn’t do anything in public. They would toast her, though, and spend time thinking about her life. He even explained Queen’s strange sense of humor. Check out how the royal family marked the important day as well.

Grant Harrold also said that Elizabeth’s family would put flowers on her grave. “Sometimes, on royal anniversaries, flowers are sent to royal graves,” he said. There will be flowers on the tombstone because of this. The former butler also said that he worked for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. The man knew that the late Queen had a great sense of humor back then.

“You couldn’t always tell if she was serious or not,” Harrold said. She would sometimes catch you off guard.” On a lighter note, Harrold told a cute story about how funny the Queen is. He talked about a time in Scotland when Elizabeth had to actually chase her guests to dinner because they were talking too much. As a butler, Grant tried to keep up without being too rude. Instead of stopping, she gave him a wink as she walked away. People, she knew what was going on!
Let’s talk about our late monarch now. Queen Elizabeth was born in 1926 and died in 2022, when she was 96 years old. Liz was queen for a very long time, and people remember how gracious and dedicated she was. She ruled for 70 years, during which time 15 prime ministers came and went. Grant also remembered how she could always make a room brighter. “As soon as you walked in, you could see her. She was always so nice, always smiling and joking.”
On Liz’s birthday, the King goes to church.
Also, even at state meals, the Queen paid close attention to every little thing. At the same time, Charles and Queen Camilla took a cruise to a church near Balmoral Castle. Yes, the same day that Queen Elizabeth II would have been 98 years old. His public showing came weeks after the Easter Sunday service at St. George’s Chapel, where Charles met people who were happy for him.
